My Story

Hi, I’m Lisa, the heart and soul behind Woofington House! I’m a lifelong animal lover, a dedicated yogi, and a passionate vegan; all of which shape the compassionate care I provide for your dogs. When I’m not taking long walks in nature (often with furry companions), you can find me sipping herbal tea and unwinding with Netflix, or indulging in the occasional spa day. As a proud member of the sober community, I embrace a mindful, balanced lifestyle (which includes chocolate, obviously). I also enjoy playing board games (Monopoly anyone?) and love to travel (who doesn’t?!). In my former life I worked in the corporate world; when my last job ended, I took the opportunity to do what I love most; caring for animals. I feel super lucky to now be living the dream!

After meeting my dog Samba a few times, he loved her lovely kind calm energy straight away. Lisa kindly had Samba over 5 days while we were away. She made the process really easy for us. She was respectful of all Samba’s needs. As an occasionally reactive rescue dog he has a few triggers but Lisa did all she could to avoid any issues and it was a success. Samba got full marks and there were no problems. I think it’s all down to her calm and caring nature! Lisa stayed at our flat and looked after our space beautifully. Would highly recommend! When I returned they were so settled with Lisa they almost didn’t want to come home. They were so happy and content and it was clear they had been pampered. We also feel very safe to leave Pippin with her as we are 100% sure that he will be well taken care off .
